Burn-out Symptômes

We help you identify if you are affected by a burn-out

Description:

Burnout first results in physical signs: permanent fatigue, back pain, insomnia, migraine, stomach aches, frequent infections, etc. Emotional emptiness, anxiety, depression in all its forms, irritability and a tendency towards isolation can all be signs of psychological suffering. Then the exhausted person becomes unusually cold and indifferent, emotionally isolated and unusually cynical.

Most often, the physical signs disappear spontaneously, but this is not a sign of a lasting improvement in the state of health.

If working conditions are not satisfactory, other signs may begin to appear such as frustration, feeling of failure, and an excessive disconnect from the environment and events. Eating disorders may appear, even drug addiction (alcohol, drugs, medication). Exhaustion, when it persists, can also trigger a proven depression which aggravates burnout.

People who suffer from long-term burnout are more likely to develop other health problems such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and overweight.
