Nonstop Flights To Miami Will Begin Operating From Chattanooga International Airport In May

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is urging farmers to plant more crops this year. The University of Tennessee’s football team is based in the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. According to recent statements, a new effort by the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga will be launched. According to a news release released on Monday, the Chattanooga International Airport will expand its operations with the addition of a nonstop route to Miami, which will begin operations in May of this year. The airport currently has a nonstop route to Atlanta. In turn, customers will benefit from a greater variety of transportation options as a result of this development.

A news release states that American Airlines will begin offering the new service on Saturday, May 7, and will continue to do so until further notice.

Because of increased demand from passengers traveling to these destinations for both pleasure and business purposes, the Chattanooga International Airport will begin offering nonstop service to three Florida destinations in January, according to a news release from the airport, which will allow it to better serve passengers.

“The Chattanooga International Airport has concentrated its efforts on acquiring new routes in order to meet the needs and expectations of consumers,” said Terry Hart, president and chief executive officer of the airport. For example, American Airlines has increased its capacity, which is a positive development that we applaud and encourage. Because Miami has been on our radar for quite some time, we’re just as excited as the passengers about being able to take advantage of this service, as well as the vacation and business opportunities it will give them.”

According to a press release, this new route between Chattanooga and Miami will only be available on Saturdays, and it will operate on a Saturday-only schedule that will include the following stops:

During the same day, we will arrive at MIA at 8:20 a.m. and depart from Charlotte Douglas International Airport at 6:17 a.m.

On the inbound flight from CHA to MIA, the arrival time is 11:58 p.00 p.00 p.m., and on the departing flight from MIA to CHA, the arrival time is 9:50 p.m.

A press release states that the flight, which will be operated by an Embraer 175 aircraft, will transport 76 people, with 12 of them traveling in first class accommodations on board.

According to the Associated Press, the new service from Chattanooga will provide visitors with faster access to PortMiami, the world’s busiest passenger port, for both pleasure and business travelers. The service will be available beginning in December.

“The Chattanooga Airport is a major economic generator for our region, and expanding our aviation service to include highly sought-after destinations is critical to our corporate community,” said Mayor Tim Kelly of Chattanooga. Our success in assisting the people of Miami has been a source of pride for us, and we will continue to work hard to increase our domestic and international reach in order to support organizations who are expanding their influence in Chattanooga and the surrounding region.

As a result of the addition of Miami, Chattanooga International Airport now offers nonstop service to nine destinations as well as connections to a wide range of other destinations across the world, according to the airport.
